Stayed here with my family for thanksgiving and wow what a wonderful time we all had! Joshua supplies everything you need and has fantastic communication. Note: the fourth bedroom with the bunk beds is in a separate little house on the side of the cottage! Super cute. If you are looking for a family fun trip with all the cottage feels, this is it!

Josh was an excellent host and was very easy to get ahold of. Cottage was very homey and had lots of places to sleep. Beautiful backyard view. Overall, we had a great experience!

Check in and check out. Doesn’t get any more simple than this. It was a great stay. The lake was an amazing temperature and astonishing view. Oh and the hiking trails near by are insane. It was clean and lots of stuff to use had an amazing stay and will do it again!

Just celebrated my birthday at Jack’s retreat with 5 friends and it was fantastic! The huge backyard and easy lake access were definitely the highlights. Recommend bringing water shoes & floaties for the lake – lots of mussels/rocks and lily pad stems near the dock. Gerry’s General Store was super convenient to walk to; very well-stocked. As a host, Joshua is incredibly nice and was always quick to answer our questions or concerns. A guide is sent to you once you book, plus they have information listed in the house which was super helpful. Would definitely book here again. So much fun! Thank you again Joshua & fam!

Cottage is beautiful, great place to get away and relax. Everything is very clean well organized. There is a local general store very close by if you forget to pack anything they have it there. 100% Recommended booking here.

We had a great time at this cottage. We were a group of 10 – 5 adults and 5 kids. It was everything we expected based on the pictures and description. We used the kayaks, played in the sand, had campfires and were just around the corner from the general store. The kitchen was very well stocked, bed linens were spotless and we especially liked all the outdoor space for lawn games and eating. Would recommend it to friends and would definitely visit again.

We had such a fun time here! We rented out the space to have a small wedding ceremony and it was perfect! The space was beautiful and private. Thank you again for allowing us to celebrate our special day here!😊

Joshua’s cottage was the perfect getaway for my family! The cottage was very clean and spacious. There were several fans provided to help us stay cool. The property was gorgeous and perfect to play yard games and for our dogs to run around. The location is great and we loved that there was a little beach for our daughter to play by the water. Joshua was very quick at replying to any questions we had! We had a wonderful time and we look forward to booking with Joshua in the future!

Jacks Beachfront Lodge was perfect for our large family vacation. Enough beds for everyone! We especially loved the beach and the large lawn area for games. The general store right across the road and a fresh food market nearby were super convenient.

This is a lovely and cozy lakefront cottage, very quiet and private. Nice place to stay with families and friends. Big Shoutout to Joshua for being an amazing host! He is definitely part of why the trip went so great. Booking was easy, he was extremely friendly, accommodating, and overall helpful, exactly what you look for in a host. We had a great time and look forward to coming again in future!

The photos don’t 100% justify Joshua’s place, it’s a beautiful cottage with lots of greenery and wonderful waterfront views. The cottage and locality were very clean and we had a memorable experience at Joshua’s place. We definitely look forward to coming again.

The cottage was an absolutely great, nice and clean, beautiful yard for activities, very close to the water and just a minute’s walk to the general store. Amazing views of the lake, nice a private. The host Joshua was also great along with Mike the groundskeeper very, very nice people. I would highly recommend staying here I know me and the boys would love to come back!!!!!

Took my 12-person family on a little getaway and choosing Josh’s place was the best decision! His place fit all 12 of us perfectly with no issues and/or complaints. The cottage was fully stocked with everything that you could ever need and more! The dock was huge and private, water was absolutely beautiful with a large shallow portion for the adults and the kayak, paddleboat and canoes made available made our entire trip! Josh truly went above and beyond during the entire trip – the pre-booking process, days leading up to our stay to ensue we are all fully packed and did not forget anything, and during the week we were there. Him and Mike were very accommodating, excellent at communicating, and just wonderful to deal with.

From the moment we walked in the door, the views blew us away. The entire back of the cottage is filled with windows, giving us a nearly unobstructed view of the lake. The cottage was so roomy with space for everyone to spread out. The large back deck is a great feature as well. Our favourite part was the private beach along the back of the property, and we spent most of our days down there enjoying the water and sunshine!

We just returned from a week at Jacks cottage. The listing description and photos of the cottage are very accurate; it was exactly as we expected. The property is large and stunning. The lake, beach and dock are fantastic and perfect for families with children with a gradual and shallow entrance into the lake. Joshua was an amazing host and communicated with us prior to, during and after our stay. Our group loved our vacation here and would absolutely return.

Our group had an absolutely wonderful time at this cottage, even though we had a rainy week. The property is beautiful and sprawling… lots of cute wild flowers that we enjoyed picking. There’s a private beach and a big dock, where the water is shallow and warm – perfect for hanging out in! The cottage itself is really spacious and fully stocked in terms of kitchen supplies and entertainment (chromecast TV, board games etc) which is great as we had some rainy nights. Important to note for those who might be needing to WFH: the internet works perfectly… we had multiple people taking video calls etc and no issues. Joshua is an incredibly accommodating host – one of the best AirBnB hosts I’ve had to be sure. He was attentive to all of my questions, and even arranged for extra fans and an extension cord to be delivered to us. The property manager, Mike, is also a super nice and chill guy… with a very cute dog 🙂 We loved our stay here, and we will definitely be back! 11/10
